Product Options
Air Lumbar® - A
 Proper lower back support is crucial to a healthy seated posture. With the backrest height set to fit the curvature of your lower back (lumbar region) the Air Lumbar® can be inflated to adjust the firmness of the backrest by pumping air into the lumbar area.
To inflate the backrest, press the black rubber bulb with your thumb or fingers until the lumbar area is noticeably firmer. To let the air out, press the black button. |
CleanRoom Chair - CR
The clean room / electrostatic dissipating combination (CRE) option is available on chairs to be used in static sensitive environments with up to Class 10 requirements.

Backrest Depth Adjustment - N
 The depth of the seat pan against the seat can be adjusted with this optional feature.
The back may be moved in a 2” range inward or out and away from the seat.
To adjust, loosen the knob located at the back of the chair, under the backrest post. Once loose, slide the backrest post assembly to desired depth and retighten the knob.
Not Available on "K-Series" models. |

The virtual elimination of seated pressure
For 30 years, the ROHO cushion (www.therohogroup.com) has countered the pressures associated with wheelchair users, and now BodyBilt offers the seated worker the same technology perfectly fitted and positioned under the foam. The ROHO option is a network of individual, interconnected air cells that allow air to slowly transfer from chamber to chamber as it more evenly distributes body weight and enhances blood flow.

S'port Foam® - SF
S’port Foam is BodyBilt’s memory foam for added softness. Adds 1” of foam to the seat. May be ordered in either or both seat and back. |
S'port Ridge® (Thoracic Support) - SR
The S’port Ridge is another BodyBilt exclusive. The vertical foam ridge gives amazing added support to the middle (thoracic region) and upper back. |
Seat Slide Adjustment - SS
The Seat Slider option allows the end-user to adjust the seat 2.5 inches fore and aft with a simple adjustment handle just below the seat. The adjustment can be made while the end-user is sitting in the chair.

Fully Upholstered Backrest - U
Adding upholstery to cover the plastic back shell adds a nice touch to the task models.

Reduced Pommel Foam - X
Although the moderate contours of BodyBilt's #7 seat form the famous fit, comfort and passive weight disbursement, occasionally a user prefers a lower pommel i.e. the hump in the front / middle of the seat. To accommodate such preferences, when specified, BodyBilt can reduce the height of the foam in the pommel by 1" while maintaining the outer bolster and much of the passive benefits of the seat. This modification is offered on the extra wide #4 seat as well. |

26" Base w/ Hooded Casters - B1
The 26” core-diameter, plastic base is standard on most chairs. |
27" Base w/ Hooded Casters - B2
The 27” diameter base is standard on Big & tall, Intensive-Use and Stool (high cylinders). |
25" Polished Aluminum w/ Chrome - B3
This silver-finish base is standard on ESD chairs with conductive casters (E9). |
25" Wooden Base Cap (mahogany) - B4
25” diameter, metal base with red, stained caps for a very rich look. |

Footring Only - F
The Footring may be added to the standard or short height cylinder. |

Double Stitching (standard) - S1
This very classy “panel look” is popular on leather chairs. The taut pulling has more shine and firmness than the (S2) Ease Stitched (loose pull) below. |

Diamond Tufting (Seat Only) - S3
BodyBilt seating, with maximum adjustable function and contemporary styling, is recognized as "cutting edge ergonomics" for the workplace. However, for certain environments where the function is crucial but the "look" must be more traditional, the Diamond Tufted stitching option (S3) provides an alternative. Diamond Tufting may be specified for the high-back only (S3B) and / or for the moderately contoured #7 seat only (S3S). In order to maintain optimal comfort and passive function in the seat, BodyBilt recommends that the backrest only be Diamond Tufted as it conveys the desired aesthetics without effecting the performance of the backrest.

Carpet Casters - C1
Carpet compatible, dual wheel casters are standard |
Hard Floor Casters - C2
Soft, dual wheel casters are optional at no added cost. Good choice for hard wood floor or in areas where the chair tends to roll too easily. |
Glides - C3
These are a stationary alternative to rolling casters. |
Unoccupied Braking Casters (carpeted) - C4
Carpet compatible casters that resist rolling when there is no weight in the chair. |
Occupied Braking Casters - C5
Carpet compatible casters that resist rolling when at least 40 pounds of weight is in the chair. |
ESD Glides - C6
These are conductive glides (non-rolling) and are only used for ESD equipped models |
Chrome Casters - C7
These are carpet compatible, dual wheel casters with a chrome hood. Only offered with polished aluminum base. |
Unoccupied Braking Caster (hard floor) - C8
Soft, dual wheel casters that resist rolling when there is no weight in the chair.
